Netflix launches free games to Andriod users

The gaming function is available for users worldwide

Starting Tuesday November 2, Netflix subscribers with Andriod phones will be able to access games on the streamer’s mobile app.

So far, five games including two for popular thriller series ‘Stranger Things’ are available for Android Netflix subscribers. While some of the games will require internet access, the rest can be played offline and in multiple languages, reports confirm.

According to Netflix, plans are already underway to make the gaming function available to iOS users in the coming months.

The streaming platform first unveiled plans to enter the video game market back in July but went silent on its development until its recent launch.

Netflix’s games are included as part of the overall subscription and no extra fees, ads or in-app purchases will be added.
